One-Pocket Pool

One-Pocket Pool can be a difficult game to master, but it's easy to learn. This demanding game forces players be more creative and imaginative. The game can also test players' mental strength as players need to be able think fast and make each shot count.

Straight Pool

Straight Pool is an object-ball and apex pool game. It uses fifteen balls, one per player. The rack has the first ball at the right corner and the fifth in the lower left corner. The rest are randomly placed balls that must touch to be at the top of the rack. The goal of the game is to stop your opponent from landing the ball on the first attempt. For some shots you will need to signal while others won't.

Bank Pool

Bank Pool, a classic table game, has simple rules. The objective is to collect more balls that your opponent. Every shot must be legal. The first player with eight balls in his pocket wins the game. You can also play the game in a shorter version with nine-ball balls.


Bowlliards

Bowlliards, a type table pool game, is one example. It requires nine to fifteen balls, a cue ball and a white ball that acts as the striker. The balls in this game are two and a quarter inches in diameter. They also come in a variety of colors and numbers, ranging from nine to fifteen.

Kelly Pool

Kelly Pool uses coins to play table pool games. It's an easy game to learn and play with your friends. There is no point system and players try to sink the ball that corresponds to their personal number. Two distinct rules govern the game: fouling your opponent's ball and getting your own object ball. A foul occurs when you fail to pocket an opponent's ball or knock it off the table. You lose the game if you foul your opponent more than three times.

Table pool games are great additions to any home. These games can be challenging, creative, and fun. Point-based pool games are easier to play than standard pool. They have fewer pockets, and can be more difficult to win. One-Pocket Pool (where you have to only use one pocket) is the most difficult.
