The Billiard Congress of America(BCA) is a leading organization which promotes billiards across the United States. It is headquartered near Broomfield, Colorado. There is also a branch in Atlanta. As an organization, BCA is involved in all facets of the sport, and has been instrumental in the promotion of snooker and 3-Cushion billiards.
BCA is also a governing board that oversees and provides input on rules and specifications for tournaments and games. BCA has a significant role in the sanctioning of tournaments. It also offers education resources and leadership opportunities that promote the game and pool.
Billiards Canada Association has been a key organizer for billiard sports in America for over 100 years. The organization supports the sport by providing education and leadership opportunities. They also support the development of the next generation with scholarships and programs. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional players and contributes.
The Official Rules and Records Book has been produced by the organization. This book contains all the rules that are used by the World Pool-Billiard Asociation (WPA). It also has a rulebook which outlines the rules of many other games. The U.S. Open 114.1 Championships promotion is also done by the BCA.
The BCA is involved in the sanctioning and promotion of championship tournaments. It also maintains the Billiard Congress of America Hall Of Fame. It is the governing body for American pocket billiards. Every year, the BCA hosts a trade fair that features a wide range of products including barstools, casual furniture and a variety other cues.
The BCA also organizes the BCA Pool League which is a league sanctioning organisation. The league has over 450 sanctioned leagues in the United States as well eight other countries. It hosts the BCAPL National 8-Ball Championships. This championship has 22 divisions. The BCAPL also has a membership of more than 50,000.
The BCA has also held the annual BCA Summit, which features seminars on a variety of billiards and home recreation topics, as well as social events to promote peer relationships. It has also held the BCA Expo, an industry trade show since 1982. It will join the Amusement Expo International(AEI) for its first ever meeting during the March 27-30 20, 2023 Las Vegas event.
Billiard Congress of America Official Rules and Records Book are also kept by the BCA. It has rules for all games of billiards, including nine-ball. You can also find a rulebook for games that aren’t open to international competition.
The BCA is not as focused on league play as the Billiards Association of America (APA), but it's one of the largest supporters of the sport. It provides educational resources, leadership opportunities and referral services.
