Cutthroat pool can be a fiercely competitive game. It involves three to five people. Each player gets a set of ball and the goal is to get all your opponents' balls. The game ends with the winner being the player with more balls. Lagging, or the shooting of the cue ball, determines which balls players can use to determine which ones they want. Lagging is the process of directing the ball to go the opposite direction from where it hit the cushion. The third person is called the rack, and their job is to shoot the cue ball, which is a very important part of the game.

Rules

Understanding the rules is important when playing cutthroat pool. You need to be sure that you are following the rules and not being penalized for any fouls. The closer you are to the cushion, you will score more points. But, mistakes can happen if you are new and you end up inflicting an injury.
